We work with boys ages 3-17 and girls that are 3-17 years old.
We provide Mentorship through support, coaching, facilitating programs and events.
Both the young ladies and young men are empowered to maintain academic excellence through constant mentor support, report card checkups, one on one meetings, tutorship and guidance.
All the NLD members are inspired to continue to higher education and to continue with their academic success.
NLD participants have the opportunity to participate in sporting events (basketball games), enriching programs and they go on field trips to universities, basketball games, baseball games, and other fun activities.
New Life Direction is a community based non-profit organization serving at risk youth, providing them with the tools to expand their education, to realize dreams, to foster alternatives to violence and to enable growth and empowerment while becoming contributing members of society.

We expect and support greatness, individuality,
creativity, sportsmanship, and leadership.
We mentor the children so that they may explore and work towards fortifying their strengths, working on their weaknesses, and discovering what it is they do best.
New Life Direction is free for all children between the ages of 4 - 17 years of age.
We meet every other Monday from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. During the meetings we provide a light snack.
NLD starts at the beginning of the school year and ends when the school year ends. Registration begins in August. Once we have reached maximum capacity for children we start our wait list.
